Bashar Al Shatty: (Arabic):(بشار الشطي), also known as Basharno, Beesho and Maystro, was born September 22, 1982 in Kuwait. Bashar has three brothers and one sister. He was born into a family that has supported him to continue studying music and becoming a singer as well as a composer and songwriter.
Bashar plays the piano and the guitar. Bashar's fame started along with the reality television show called Star Academy on LBC.[1] During his stay at Star Academy in Lebanon he produced and recorded his first song which got a lot of attention.
Bashar was a finalist on that show but did not win which made a lot people question the integrity of the show.
A year after Star Academy 1, Bashar released his first album and a video clip that went hand in hand with the album. During winter 2006, he released his second album. Both albums were a success both in Kuwait and in the Arab world making him one of the most successful Arab singers.
